The Sift Is for the Shift!

Reflecting on Apostle’s message
I found myself reflecting on Apostle’s message, “The Sift
Is for the Shift.” He used an actual sifter and flour to
demonstrate the process, and that visual has stayed with
me.
Sifting does not always feel good. It can feel like pressure,
separation, loss, or uncertainty. But some things must be
removed, pruned, and separated so we can move forward
Jesus told Peter that Satan desired to sift him as wheat,
but He also said, “I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail
not.” The sifting was not the end of Peter’s story.
If God is allowing some things to fall away, do not mistake
the sifting for abandonment. He may be preparing you for
the shift. The sift may not feel good,
must be
removed, pruned, and separated so we can move forward
into what God has prepared.
Jesus told Peter that Satan desired to sift him as wheat.
